So much great advice in this one. I also make a habit of letting go or taking a walk when I’m stuck. It makes such a difference! I’m loving your new abstracts.
Thank you! I’ve been nervous about sharing my abstracts since they’re so different from my portraits work 💗 It’s so good to know you take a walk too when you’re stuck. I used to always push through the ugly stages but now I realize it comes easier after I step away. Even if that means starting something new.
Lovely to read thank you Juliette, thank you. I feel that leaning into trust, trusting that it has already happening is helpful for me. You are definitely closer than you may be feeling ❤️ where in France is your retreat, I used to live out there!
Thank you! I totally agree with the idea of acting as if it’s already happening and leaning into trust. Also the idea of asking for this or something better ❤️ I’ll be teaching in the Loire Valley 🌸 Where did you live while you were in France? Here is the place where I’ll be:

They’re very sure and strong. Look forward to more!
That’s beautiful to hear! Thank you so much! I’ve been painting many more… I just need to photograph them 🎨
This sounds exactly right, just being in the present. acceptance of where we are each day.
Thanks, Jen! It’s hard to do sometimes but I feel so much better, calmer, when I do, especially when I put these things into practice ✨
Your art is beautiful! I am reading Wintering and it is so beautiful, and so quotable! I just wrote a new post about its impact on me, in case it's of interest :) https://sineadconnolly.substack.com/p/finding-the-wisdom-in-wintering?r=tdxdn
I love that! Excited to check it out! I’m writing a nonfiction book and read Wintering as part of my research. So calming 🌸✨
You're being seen and felt 🌱✨🩵
Such a beautiful comment to receive ❤️🦋 Thank you 🙏

I hope to visit Limousin on another trip! Can’t wait! ❤️
I loved reading this. Can relate to what you say, and your art is beautiful!
Thank you! It’s wonderful to know it resonates!
What you share is reflected in my own creative journey - letting go, trusting the process, being present and allowing ✨️.
That’s beautiful! I always find that art reflects life and it’s something I’m really noticing I need to do more of in my everyday too. ✨🌞
