I love your comment about imperfections. Some of my best artwork is a result of ‘happy accidents’ (but I work digitally so usually the undo button tends to get in the way of this!). And your pictures are beautiful, especially the girl. I love that one!
Thank you so much! Sometimes I wish I could just erase the mistakes I make as I paint - especially on the eyes or face. But now it’s become part of my process to follow where they lead (and I’ve gotten really good at knowing just when it’s an actual mistake and getting rid of it).
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! It’s so good to know when to follow those imperfections and to be open to them. I think it’s only through doing and creating that you can really know the next step… creating daily has helped me in my process and in finding that calm and joy :)
Make a mess and there is beauty!
Love the mess making part of the process 💖 It’s so important to be able to let go and allow for those imperfections.
You are absolutely right 😊

I enjoyed this post. I agree that embracing imperfection is important. Some of my favorite art techniques/discoveries began as imperfections.

What a winter wonderland!
It’s beautiful especially just as it’s snowing and the sun is out :)
